The Grandfather Story

There was once a man whose life resonated with the essence of simplicity, hard work, and integrity. His name was Haji Malik Thekedar Muhammad Latif. Born in Paharay near Gujrat city on October 1, 1930, his journey became a testament to determination and honesty.

Malik Latif's life began humbly. He attended the village school surrounded by the quiet beauty of the mountains. After completing his primary education, he joined his father, Muhammad Khan, in the family's agricultural work, beginning a life deeply connected to rural labor, trade, and responsibility.

The family business, first rooted in their mountain village, gradually grew. With perseverance and an unwavering spirit, they expanded their work and established two new shops in neighboring villages. Among siblings and through the normal rise and fall of life, Malik Latif grew into a responsible young man, later embracing marriage, parenthood, and community responsibility.

But Malik Latif was more than a businessman. He was remembered as a source of hope and compassion in his community. Through farming and trade, he sustained his family while extending help to people in need, offering support, shelter, and practical care where he could.

His leadership went beyond commerce. He became a moral guide for people around him, offering counsel through hardship and remaining committed to humility and faith. In 1987, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of performing pilgrimage to Mecca, a moment that reflected his devotion and patience.

On May 5, 2008, Malik Latif began his final journey. Though his physical presence departed, his legacy remains alive in Kotla Arab Ali Khan and in the hearts of the people who remember his integrity, resilience, and kindness.

How This Became Kotla App

In the world of technology, Kotla App Pakistan Online stands as a digital monument to that legacy. The ecosystem, powered by secure digital infrastructure and supported by AKMITS Services, was crafted by grandson Ali Akbar Khan (Babar Amin), entrepreneur and IT engineer, to honor Haji Malik Thekedar Muhammad Latif and serve the people of Pakistan.

The Foundation story explains why Kotla was created and the values carried into the platform. For the current products and services, see the Kotla Ecosystem overview; for the detailed public catalog, see Features.

"Knowledge is power, but it must never be used in the wrong way. When knowledge is misused, its consequences can return to the person who misused it." Owner/Founder Ali Akbar Khan (Babar Amin)
